Adept at troubleshooting problems with computer-based slot machines servicing legacy slot machines and answering inquiries from the State Gaming Commission. Slots/Customer Service Job Description Slot Tech: As a slot tech your job is part technical, part customer service. You will be on the floor all day interacting with customers as well as maintain a positive, professional environment for coworker and vendors. Slot Technician maintains slot machines, replaces parts, and cleans machines as needed. Removes machines from gaming floor with the aid of a hand truck as needed. Being a Slot Technician may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Coordinate and oversee the work of slot department workers, including change runners and slot technicians. Supervise service workers. Attach 'out of order' signs to malfunctioning machines, and notify technicians when machines need to be repaired or removed.
